Data Deduplication Evaluation

When data deduplication is enabled on a Windows 2012 R2 server, an executable called ddpeval.exe gets dropped on the machine at C:\Windows\system32. This tool can be used to determine if data deduplication is worth it on your server. Examples:

ddpeval.exe E:

ddpeval.exe E:\folder1

ddpeval.exe \\server1\share1
