# create shortcut

$target = “<path to exe>”

$shortcut_lnk = “$short_dir\<name>.lnk”

$wscriptshell = New-Object -ComObject WScript.Shell

$Shortcut = $WScriptShell.CreateShortcut($Shortcut_lnk)

$Shortcut.TargetPath = $Target

$Shortcut.Save()
